History
I started out in warehousing during the years of early IT tech and grew quickly through the ranks to management and executive positions in companies of every size from ‘mum and dad’ through to NASDAQ corporations.
Starting in IT and moving into food, medical devices and pharmaceutical manufacturing gives me extensive knowledge of complicated workflow as well as the regulatory requirements associated with many businesses. I have also worked in engineering, 3rd party logistics, air-conditioning and grindery businesses.
I have researched and managed projects from the start through to proof of concept and go-live. This includes unique solutions including ERP-integrations such as RFID and NFC systems to track, by the bottle, products from manufacturing to end consumer through reseller partnerships and automated customer stock replenishment systems.
We have had passion and focus for change management and improvement methodologies and enjoy the challenges of making business better though the advancement of process, people and technology. Having played a part of many business acquisitions, we have also learnt skills to improve workplace culture in the face of apparent adversity that comes with this level of change.
As a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, I was also a former secretary and chairman of the Northern Section.
My specialist areas include warehousing, distribution, supply chain optimization, planning, project management, ERP, eCommerce operations, manufacturing, modelling, analysis, budgeting. I have collaborated with several unique businesses to gel processes, improve customer retention, acquisition and future proof these businesses. He has managed multiple facilities across Australia and New Zealand and ensured the financials for these “stack up”.
